TNPA are currently recruiting for Neonatal Nurses to work within an Acute Maternity hospital based in Dublin. The candidate must be NMBI registered or be in the process of registering. The ideal candidate must be responsible for babies with a range of health needs so being highly organised, flexible and able to prioritise effectively will be vital and must have a keen interest in newborn babies. The candidate must display a good understanding of the physiological and psychological needs of the new-born. Experience or exposure in NICU setting is highly desirable.

 

Ideal requirements:

• highly observant, able to assess patients and take responsibility for determining the best course of action. 

• an empathetic understanding for the parents and other family members

• the competence to work in a highly technical area

• the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
